Yay! I've taken Tony's advice, and created a Flickr account, and it's all working smoothly. You can see my Nantwich food festival photographs there now, and I'll post some other photographs there shortly.
You take great portraits. I love the cabbages - a great classic still life picture and one that will be a good "social record" shot because of the price tag. Tone and I both without knowing it took pics of the roof of the big tent inside - yours is the best - the tree shadow is beautiful. I really like this picture too - it looks like a mountain scene if you squint slightly! You can post pictures bigger on flickr if you like. And you can get a little flickery photo album to put on your blog side bar if you want one.
I was being cautious about uploading large files to Flickr and using up the free monthly allowance, but now that I've got a feeling for how many can go on, I'll post larger in future.
Thanks for the tip, too, about the photo album. I'll look into that.
Until recently, I didn't want a blog or a Flickr account. Now I have both, and I'm enjoying it all.
Looking forward to seeing your photos of the Nantwich trip. Mind you, I haven't even seen Lisa's yet...
Sometimes it's about looking at the positive side of losing things: recovery and second chances.
But mainly it's about whatever interests me. The photographs used as drop caps are
part of the Alphaphot project.
